How Do Search Engines Rank?

  • Domain Name Registration. Register for at least two years.
  • Popularity. The more sites that link to yours, the better.
  • Bad Link Exchanges. If you link to a site that has been banned from search engines, it will hurt your page rank or even get you banned as well.
  • Regular Updates. Add small amounts of good quality content to your site regularly.
  • Bookmarks. Encourage visitors to bookmark your site.
